Oops
Apparently, Twitter is being used a bit too much...I'd like to be a fly on the wall at their offices...not.
Tweet, tweet. WTF??!
Yes, that is (l-r) Rob Zombie, Malcolm McDowell and Al Yankovic. And how did I find this picture? Well, Al (I can call him Al), posted it on Twitpic. Yes, I'm following Al Yankovic on Twitter. Is that weird? It is indeed, but I also find it amusing - this parallel universe called Twitter.

Be a Twit
I've taken to Tweeting a fair bit of late, and so have some 6 million others. The Globe is devoting a fair bit of intellectual capital to the subject at the moment to try and make sense of it for us. I was particularly intrigued by Clive Thompson's words (of Shift and Wired Magazine fame): “Each little update – each individual bit of social information – is insignificant on its own, even supremely mundane,” says new-media expert Clive Thompson. “But taken together, over time, the little snippets coalesce into a surprisingly sophisticated portrait of your friends' and family members' lives, like thousands of dots making a pointillist painting.” He calls this experience “ambient awareness” – an invisible dimension floating over everyday life, like a type of ESP. So, me telling you what I had for supper isn't interesting, but over time I'm painting a picture of my life for you...

5 good things for free
Courtesy of Wil Wheaton @ Twitter. 5 great things about information sharing on the Internets. And to think that the CRTC is fighting about CANCON for the web...It's not possible to control all of this - which is what makes it awesome.

Need someone to lean on
I haven't been here for a number of reasons. A dear friend re-introduced me to Bill Withers. We all know his music from all kinds of places, he is pervasive. But, I invite you to explore andget the funk out.
